Corwin Smidt & Dino Christenson
Corwin is a PhD candidate in the Department of Political Science at Ohio State University.
He studies American politics, including campaigns and elections, the media, political behavior,
Parties, Congress, American political development, religion and politics. He is also
interested in quantitative methods, specifically: dynamic models, real-time data acquisition
and analysis, natural language processing, computer programming and bayesian methods.
Dino is a Fellow at the Program in Statistics and Methodology in the Department of
Political Science at Ohio State University. He studies American politics, with a focus
on voting behavior and survey research methodology. His subsequent interests involve
bureaucracies and interest groups. Methodologically he is interested in Bayesian methods,
random effects, dynamic models and matching.
